Newcastle 1.35 Wiltshire flopped back at Newbury six weeks ago but he was messed around in the early part of that race and nothing got into it from off the pace either; too soon to write him off and he’s a fascinating contender back on AW (2-2 on artificial surfaces). Advised Bet Wiltshire 1/2 pt ew @ 6’1 / 11’2 firms offering 4 places

Newcastle 2.04 Montassib should be suited to today’s stiffer test will suit and this C&D winner should be arriving on the scene late; strong contender for a trainer who has won the last two runnings. Advised Bet Montassib 1/2 pt ew @ 6’1 firms offering 4 places

Newmarket 2.15 A 2 year old listed race that looks too tricky to call given the amount of improvement most of these probably have in them

Newcastle 2.35 Faylaq Did well to finish third at Hamilton last time, having blown the start; still on a very long losing run and comes with some risk but he holds decent each-way possibilities, having performed well (close third) off 6lb higher in this race last year on sole 2m attempt. Advised Bet Faylaq 1/2 pt ew @ 13’2 / 6’1 firms offering 4 places

Newmarket 2.50 King Of Conquest should be the one to beat , but the stable have been a bit quiet of late so I would rather swerve the race than get stuck in at such a short price

Newcastle 3.10 A super tricky handicap with nothing standing out on form or at the current prices , so a race just to watch

Newmarket 3.25 Not a race I have any strong opinion on and we can just sit this one out

Newcastle 3.40 Make Me King has bits of useful form for new yard, most recently eighth to the Wathnan first string in the Buckingham Palace handicap at Royal Ascot; must have possibilities in this less taxing event; acts on AW too. Advised Bet Make Me King 1/2 ew @ 13’2 / 6’1 firms offering 4 places
