Sandown 1.25 Jinko Blue has shaped with plenty of promise on the two rules starts so far , he scrambled home against one that has since run in a Grade 1 ; has obvious chances. Onethreefivenotout looks as if this step back up in trip will suit him well on handicap debut. Probably between the two mentioned but not a race for betting purposes
Musselburgh 1.40 Monmiral has been a bit disappointing over fences considering the promise over hurdles, this is weaker than a few of the races he has contested of late but he just does not seem a natural. General Officer ran away with a decent contest at Doncaster the time before & does like to get on with things at that is an asset around this track. Jackpot de Choisel landed a bit of a punt last time at this venue , but this is tougher. Another race to swerve for betting purposes
Sandown 2.00 Saint Segal has the ability but the fencing is far from fluent. Harpers Brook is a complete dodge pot , so that leaves In Excelsis Deo with a straight forward opportunity. Musselburgh 2.15 Irish raider Peaches And Cream heads the betting this evening , he will need a better performance here but we know from his emphatic 2022 Punchestown Festival win that he’s very well suited by 3m7f on a right-handed track. Inis Oirr was disappointing last time out & the stable has been a bit in the doldrums of late , so that one is easily passed over. Magna Sam would be a player if back on form , but was another to run poorly when last seen. Lots of if’s and but’s about plenty in this , so a race to serve for betting purposes
Sandown 2.35 A decent quality Grade 1 & it looks more wide open than the betting suggests with Hermes Allen currently odds on . There is no doubt he has some of the best form over hurdles , but apart from a wide margin success at Newbury in a weak Grade 2 he has not done anything to warrant being such a short price. There are plenty of dangers in the 4 other runners so I am just going to watch this race
Musselburgh 2.50 Benson returned to winning ways at a track he adores & will be just as affective at this distance. Afadil will probably appreciate this drier ground & should be in the mix. A very competitive race and not one I can find any real edge to for betting purposes
Leopardstown 3.00 Fine Margin currently heads the market and certainly ran above himself at Haydock , not sure that warrants being so short in a very competitive race however. Canal End was strong in the market last time out and looked to be traveling like a winner for the most part , the heavy ground seems to find him out late on , so being back slightly in trip and on better going should be ideal. Nine Acres has the look of a progressive type and is another who should benefit from this better ground. Sandown 3.10 There looks to be plenty in with chances in this decent handicap , but one I have had on my radar for a while is Ed Keeper who was undone with a late blunder at Cheltenham last time out ( well backed too that day ) and looks like he will go on improving and looks sure to win a big handicap before long which could be today. Leopardstown 3.35 This should be a cake walk for Galopin Des Champs if he is the same form as last time out. Fastorslow poses a decent test but he is hardly up to Gold Cup standard on what he has done so far , where as Galopin Des Champs bids to retain that title come March. A no bet race
Sandown 3.45 Blackjack Magic still looks some way ahead of the handicapper & looked a little unlucky at Ascot last time out with a final flight error costing him the race that day and has the decent ground he loves. Dom Of Mary got back on track with an easy success at Plumpton , but this is way deeper than that race.
