Chepstow 1.35 Most of these veterans have questions hanging over them & it’s not a race I want to get involved with at all

Newmarket 1.50 This 5f sprint is more than likely to be decided by the draw advantage and with the plum stall in 1 is Inquisitively , but all his form has been on fast ground and it’s not going to be that. Flora Of Bermuda has the soft ground form but the draw of 15 could well be a big negative. Of the rest Zoulu Chief , Toca Madera & Alabama have decent draws and should be involved. The ground question mark stops me from backing Inquisitively at the current prices , so a no bet race

Chepstow 2.10 Captain Teague was the only UK based runner to make any sort of impact in the Champion Bumper in March ( 3rd that day but form not really working out that well ) but still represents the best of these runners in that sphere. Rock House was well supported and hardly came off the bridle to win on hurdling debut and looks a good prospect. Of the rest the multi winning Mullinaree should not be ignored given he is battled hardened. A no bet race, but a race to watch for the future

Newmarket 2.25 Skellet is the current favourite & I can certainly see her potential going forward but Chic Colombine brings the most solid form. Dance Sequence is one from one so it’s hard to make a call on what she might or might not be capable of. A tricky race to be confident about anything really

York 2.40 Urban Outlook currently heads the markets this evening and with the weather forecast suggesting further rain at the course & his tough grinding style of racing he may be a tough nut to crack. Insanity won a novice in good style last time out and the 3rd that day beaten well into double digits has since come out and won so he would have to be classed as a big player. Lordship is what he is and has no secrets while the stable mate Kingfisher King underperformed at Doncaster I get the feeling he is better than that run & going up in distance should help. Just a race to watch rather than bet in with so many in with a chance

Newmarket 3.00 A very tight 6 runner race with nothing much to choose between all of the runners. There is nothing that I can safely rule out & any result would not surprise me , so I am just going to pass this one over

York 3.15 A big field 2 year old conditions race and despite having spent a fair chunk of time going through the runners , nothing stands out & its probably best to swerve it for betting purposes

Newmarket 3.35 Humanity has bolted up the last twice on the all weather , but the last time he ran on turf he was beaten at 1/3 , he is undoubtedly well treated despite carrying a penalty but I would not be rowing in at the current price given that turf question mark. Alsakib found the distance suited very well when winning easily at Ascot and seemed to act well enough on soft ground at Goodwood the time before just fining the 10f trip on the short side , he looks a powerful type & more progress looks guaranteed. Shadow Dance is another one with more improvement to come. Advised Bet Alsakib 3/4 pt ew @ 5 ‘1 4 places with Corals

York 3.50 Probably the most tricky race on this ITV card today & with plenty of old stagers we know plenty about its not a race I can get excited about at all

Newmarket 4.10 Both Shuwari & Ylang Ylang come into this from a 2nd and 3rd place finish in the Rockfel Stakes . both were set too much to do that day by their respective riders & both will be suited to the mile trip. But both may be overtaken by what looks a very promising filly in Classical Song , for me she should be unbeaten as on debut at Goodwood ( soft ground ) she was on the back foot after a slow beginning & then made plenty of ground up late. She made up for that with a resounding success at Salisbury with the 2nd , 3rd & 5th place finishers all coming out to score next time. Irish raider Caught U Looking is worth a mention as she will be at home on soft ground. Advised bet Classical Song 1pt win @ 7’2
