Doncaster 1.50 A small field opening contest & one that should be at the mercy of Rosallion. He looks a very promising type & should have too much for the main rival Iberian who was second in a below par group 2. No bet

Chester 2.05 Yet another odds on favourite in the shape of Bluestocking who is well ahead on official ratings and is dropping way down in class . It’s a bit of a guessing game as to who will be the main danger. No bet

Doncaster 2.25 Call Me Ginger comes into this on the back of 2 wins , but this is very much deeper than those contests & I am not sure he has the draw either. Chipstead is another drawn low which looks a disadvantage. One that caught my eye last time is Kimngrace .The recent run in a fillies’ handicap at York was better than it looks at first glance; running into form , dropping in the weights and looks a play. Advised Bet Kimngrace 1/2 pt ew @ 12’1 firms offering 6 places

Chester 2.40 Baryshnikov is clearly well handicapped and does have winning form at the track , but slow starts & then needing the gaps is not a game I would want to be involved with. Sweet Reward has the right run style for this track and bolted up last time out at Goodwood , but has been put up 7lb for that & that does look very harsh. Of the rest Dark Pine takes the eye of such a reduced mark , but is another slow starter. A trappy race and not one I want to bet in

Donacaster 3.00 Another small field group race and its one on ratings that Spycatcher should be winning. Biggles takes a rise in class & while it is possible he is a tricky customer and I am not sure this small field will be ideal. Sandrine & Audience have chances too. Not a race I am interested in betting in

Doncaster 3.35 For me this classic revolves around one horse in Continuous who was ultra impressive I thought at York. He has been something of a late developer this season and that is something his trainer excels at. The stable has other runners entered to ensure there is no hanging about & it looks a race that could be well set up for him. Of the rest Gregory was well beaten in that race at York and it’s hard to see how he can change that form. Arrest won a Micky mouse group 3 last time out and was well beaten behind Continuous at Ascot. Dessert Hero is certainly improving but only beat a rival in Canberra Legend last time out by just over 3l when Continuous beat the same rival by over 16l at York. Advised Bet Continuous 2pt win @ 3’1
